Good morning all!

Sorry about not starting the thread yesterday morning. I hurried up and got off to work and forgot that it usually won't let me start any threads at work. That's frustrating since it sometimes/usually will let me respond to posts!

Anyway. My first day back to work went great. I stayed at my desk most of the day filtering through 1600 emails! I have one or two to read more carefully today. I was completely exhausted when I left there but I think alot of that was from just not being at work for 8 weeks (I was on vacation for a few weeks before I had the surgery). Pain-wise, I was fine until about noon. I took a pain pill then and it got me through the rest of the day. As tired as I am this morning, I can definately say without hesitation that I'll be going to bed earlier tonight. 4 AM comes early...especially when your body is use to getting up when it says to instead of when an alarm says to!

Today, other than going through those few emails, I'll also b catching up on any training that may have been released while I was off. Based on those emails yesterday, I know there were at least a few. I think my boss and I will probably get together too today so I can find out what she's thinking for me to have as projects to start the year off. I have a pretty good idea what a few are and they are computer based.

Boy do I know what you mean about 4 am coming early!! I have been falling asleep about 8:30 pm while watching TV thank God for DVR!! Today is my day off.. some day off!! I am booked!! a day at the VA with Hubby then dinner at Scott and Melissas...

I can not take pain pills.. I am still liquid loratab.. I tried taking 1/2 a vicadan and it make me sooo sick!! Insurance kicked in so I have to make an appointment now to get my blood test and get my synthroid started up regular again.

I love my new job at Walmart and will soon be solo and back on the registers on the weekends.. You know I teased and told people I would rather work for Walmart then where I was working but for me this has been an amazing position change and I like it!! Sitting at a desk like I did for 10 years is nothing like getting out and mingling with the everyday folk personalities.

I like false teeth too.. it changes your taste buds.. and since I dont dump.. it has made things better for my weight loss... I hate the feel of cake in my mouth now.. feels like straw and dont get the sweet kick... so many food textures and tastes.. yea!! more help kicking Bad habits!!

I hope things go well now that you have returned to work.  Don't over do it.  Pace yourself. 

I contacted the doctor's office and requested that my files follow Dr. Cacucci to her new office.  They said that I need to fill out the form sent in the mail but I explained that I did not receive a letter.  They looked up my information and still had me under Dr. Gupta... hmmm.  I wonder when I would have found out about the change if I had not been seen the information on the message board.  They said they would take care of it and I would be getting a letter in the mail.  

Do you know where her new office will be?  I am curious about transitioning to a whole new process/procedure at this stage of the game. 

Dr. Cacucci will be located at Clarion that is on Meridian just a little bit south (toward downtown) from St. Vincent and on the west side of the road. If you won't be going to see her in the near future, I'd call before you go. From what Dr. Cacucci said to me, all of the doctors there may be making the move back to St. Vincent's. So...call first and be sure she is still physically located there.

Sounds like a lot of changes are in the works.  I noticed that yesterday, I called the new office and they listed Dr. Cacucci and Dr. Diaz in the automated voice announcer.  I guess that means he is moving to that group also.
